A little reminder to all of you wondering what you can do with all of this free time you have: the library plays hosts to may clubs, including the chess and scrabble club and the bridge club. We also have a radio show on CFSI every Friday morning, which features interviews of local authors. With so many things to do, it’s a wonder anyone is ever bored!

We are very pleased to be hosting another Open Mic Poetry Night. This month’s soiree will feature poets Yvonne Blomer and Ariel Gordon. Don’t miss a chance to share your poetry and experience these two peachy poets. Reading sign up starts at 6:45, and it’s first come, first serve.

Speaking of poets, this month’s featured author is none other than words-weaver Peter Levitt. A longtime student of Zen, he edited Thich Nhat Hanh’s classic,The Heart of Understanding, and recently he served as Associate and Translation Editor of The Treasury of the True Dharma Eye – Zen Master Dogen’s Shobo Genzo, edited by Kazuaki Tanahashi.
