CHRISTINE SMART won the 2020 Literary Writes contest sponsored by the Federation of BC Writers.
BRIAN DAY has published four books of poetry, including The Daring of Paradise and Conjuring Jesus.
DIANA HAYES has six published books of poetry and publishes emerging poets in BC under the imprint, Raven Chapbooks.
KARL MEADE has been longlisted for four CBC Literary Prizes, shortlisted for Arc Magazine’s Poem of the Year, and shortlisted for the Malahat Review’s Open Season Creative Nonfiction prize.
ROWAN PERCY is a poet, counsellor, queer activist, and explorer of life in its beauty and madness.
MURRAY REISS is an award-winning poet & founding member of Salt Spring’s Only Planet Cabaret.
SANDI JOHNSON: In a world full of wonder, I wonder.

These seven Salt Spring Island poets have continued to meet monthly on Zoom throughout the pandemic. The core members of this group of poets have been meeting for 20 years.
