Connie Kuhns has a decades long history as an essayist, journalist, broadcaster, and photographer. Her essays have been finalists in publications ranging from the L.A. Review Literary Awards, to Prism International, to the NYT Modern Love column and the Frank McCourt Memoir Prize. Her Photographs have been shown in slide shows at the Vancouver Art Gallery, the Elissa Cristall Gallery, Chernoff Fine Art, POD Contemporary, the Pendulum, published in the Washington Post, and on the occasional album cover. Kuhns was named Outstanding Salt Spring Artist at the 2021 SSNAP Awards.
