Margriet Ruurs has written numerous books for children and teachers, utilizing her Master’s Degree in Education from Simon Fraser University. Her books include poetry, non-fiction, historical fiction, fictional picture books, and books on writing for educators.
This busy writer makes author visits to schools around the world and is a frequent speaker at literary conferences, but she also loves to stay home to work on new books. When she is not traveling, Margriet runs a booklovers’ Bed & Breakfast on Salt Spring Island.
