We are celebrating the library’s 60th anniversary in February 2020 and below are the events we are organizing.

| Saturday, February 1, 3 – 5pm | Reception for Brushstrokes & Bookshelves art show. Show will be displayed until March 1. |
| Saturday, February 1, 6 – 9pm | Free public screening of EX LIBRIS, a compelling documentary about the New York Public Library |
| Thursday, February 6, 7:00 – 8:30pm | Poetry Open Mic featuring “Our Library in Poetic Life” competition winners and honourable mentions. |
| Saturday, February 22, 10am – 1pm | Kids’ 8-14 Sixty Years of Reading Tile-Making Workshop (free + lunch included) |
| Saturday, February 22, 2 – 4pm | Teen Movie Matinee X-Men: First Class (free + pizza included) |
