Indigenous Art Market
Community Program Room 129 McPhillips Avenue, Salt Spring Island, BC, CanadaThe Salt Spring Island Public Library is hosting an Indigenous Market. The Market will feature artwork, jewelry, and Wanda’s Famous Northern Style Bannock! Vendors include Indigenous folks who are residents of Salt Spring Island, as well as from various First Nations on Turtle Island. Join us to browse and purchase quality, handmade goods!
Indigenous Peoples Day
Library Indigenous Coordinator, Caroline Dick (Tahltan/Irish), will be giving mini-tours of ITOTELNEW̱ HÁUTW̱ / Tatul’ utew’t-hw, the Indigenous Learning Area of the Salt Spring Library. Tours will be from 10AM-4PM. every half hour, on the half hour, starting in the Lobby. Last tour starts at 3:30.
