Local poet Cherie reads from her recent poetic works. Poetry, prose, story-telling, art and music intertwine in Cherie’s life. So does hope, anticipation, joy and laughter, pain and disaster.

Cherie arrived on Salt Spring island in 1986 and immediately fell in live with the coast and the island. Here was a place to write, and where you could hear your footsteps in the dark. She became involved in volunteer work serving the Salt Spring community.
