Join Nadzeya Sadouski in this weekend-series to learn the craft of costume design! This program aims to support and advise participants in techniques used to produce the kind of costumes you might see at Comic-Con, on film, or at festivals.
Planning a design, pattern making, modification of existing garments, foam smithing, industrial sewing, and 3D printed elements and fabric fusing will be introduced to participants as they work on their design and utilize skills and design elements suitable to their desired costume.
This program is reserved for people aged 15+ due to inherent hazards present in industrial sewing machines, glue guns, and assorted cutting blades. Caution and discretion are advised.
NOTE: While some materials will be provided, participants are welcome to use their own program-approved materials too.
